Over the 2026 Halloween weekend, BayLUG participated in the first annual Brick Realm Expo. This event was held at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, the former home of Bricks by the Bay. The overall BayLUG display had several distict areas: Great American Road Trip, Williams Castle, a downtown train layout, GBC, and a small miscellaneous area. We were also well represented in the Art, Sci-Fi, and Pop Culture themes, as well as the stand-alone van Galen Castle. In total 32 members participated in the event. BayLUG members nearly swept the awards, taking home seven of the trophies, including Best in Show! Here is the breakdown.
