PCFD Maintenance Facility

"The Shops" - This is a full-service maintenance yard for service and repairs. It features four maintenance bays, a wash bay, and a large shop area. Most reserve and spare apparatus are stored here.

(Fuel1) Fuel Truck - This is a 1997 Freightliner. It carries 300 gallons of gas and 300 gallons of diesel. It is staffed by one mechanic.

(Utility1) Duty Mechanic - This is a 1993 Freightliner Tow Truck.

(Utility2) Crew Carrier - This is a 2000 Flxible Crew Bus. If features seating for the driver and 5 firefighters. It is called in as needed to transport "callback" personnel to the incident scene.

(RAC1) Rehab Unit - This is a 1993 Ford E350 Van. It pulls a catering trailer ready to serve hot & cold drinks and meals. It also has a co-ed restroom.

Reserve Apparatus - Reserve apparatus are fully equiped units. These units are ready-to-use when called into service. When a reserve piece of apparatus is placed into service, it takes on the replaced unit's ID, but with a "1" before it. For example, Reserve Engine 1 would be "Engine 101."

(E) Reserve Engine A - This is a 2000 Hess Fire Apparatus Standard Pumper. It features a 1500 GPM pump and a 500 gallon water tank.

(E) Reserve Engine B - This is a 2000 Hess Fire Apparatus 50' Commercial Quint. It features a 1500 GPM pump and a 500 water gallon tank.

(E) Reserve Engine C - This is a 2004 Seagrave Short Wheelbase 50' Quint. It features a 1000 GPM pump and a 500 water gallon tank.

(E) Reserve Engine D - This is a 1988 Mack 50' Quint. It features a 1500 GPM pump and a 500 gallon water tank.

(T) Reserve Truck A - This is a 1980 Seagrave 25' Tiller style Snorkel Truck. It features a 1000 GPM pump and a 500 gallon water tank.

(T) Reserve Truck B - This is a 1980 Mack 100' Rear-Mount. It has no water, pump, or hose.

(P) Reserve Brush Patrol Group A - This is a 2005 Ford F350 4WD pick-up truck.

(P) Reserve Brush Patrol Group B - This is a 1997 Ford F350 4WD pick-up truck.

(P) Reserve Brush Patrol Group C - This is a 1994 Jeep 4WD.

(P) Reserve Brush Patrol Group D - This is a 1995 Jeep 4WD.

(R) Reserve Rescue - This is a 1998 Ford E350 Van. It carries a variety of extraction and ventilation tools. It is a Heavy Rescue Unit specializing in High-Angle Rope and Building Collapse Rescue. It can also transport patients.

(WT) Reserve Water Tender - This is a 1999 Peterbilt Tractor with a 2500 gallon tanker trailer. It features a 1500 GPM pump.

Spare Apparatus - Spare apparatus are non-equiped units. They must be prepared for use when called into service. When a spare piece of apparatus is placed into service, it takes on the replaced unit's ID, but with a "2" before it. For example, Spare Engine 1 would be "Engine 201."
